Photographic order

The Mixed Syndicate of Plaine de l’Ain Industrial Parc (PIPA) expressed its willingness to order an artwork within the Parc, in Saint-Vulbas (01150), which would be seen by many. In this context, PIPA entrusted the complete management of a photographic project order to Openlines X Studio Ganek.

Openlines X Studio Ganek launched a call for projects through 2 phases in artistic direction to make this photographic order.

Following this call, Guillaume Martial has been chosen.

Made with tens of companies of Plaine de l’Ain Industrial Parc, 15 photographs of Guillaume Martiel mix the industrial identity of the parc with the environment, and the people who form and forge it.

The exhibition’s aim is to highlight occupations in companies, to enhance machines, process, skills of women and men working every day to run these industrial sites, logistical or tertiary, often away from prying eyes.

The scenography of the exhibition was undertaken by Vincent Guiomar. Located along a 50-metres track for soft mobility within the green park, it is inspired by forms seen in companies. Sometimes roller coasters just like some conveyors, sometimes soft paths echoing mobility, these raw steel tubular volumes zigzag to make you discover what happens inside.
