Regarding the programmation of the Bourse du Travail, a place dedicated to contemporary art, the city of Valence launches, for the summer exhibition, a call for artistic and cultural projects in the area of visual and plastic arts.

Magalie Meunier, curator of the exhibition, is in charge of the call for projects procedure in its different instruction steps.

This call for projects aims at artists, whether they are solo or in group, from the region without excluding a national scale.


For the exhibition of 2024, the theme is :

Budget

A grant of 5000 € including all taxes will be assigned for the realisation and the implementation of the chosen project.


This grant will cover :

• Artist’s fees
• Production of new artworks
• Artworks’ transport (round trip)
• Necessary operations of technical maintenance
• Per diem (food and place to sleep)
• Travelling fees
• Other expenses

• 19th december 2023: diffusion of the call for proposals

• 09th february 2024: deadline of the projects reception by mail

• Week of the 11th march 2024: selecting the project and answering the candidates

• From the 24th of June to the 03rd of July 2024 (10 days): setting up the exhibition

• From the 04th of July to the 01st of September : exhibition

• From the 02nd to the 08th of September: disassembly of the exhibition


The artist will have to be present during the assembly, disassembly and private viewing of the exhibition.
