Ongoing - The Magnificent Industry

The Magnificent Industry is a movement of cooperation between companies, artists and public space. It’s expressed through a tangible act : the meeting between art and industry in public space.

Born in Alsace in 2016, the Magnificent Industry has attracted more than 600 000 visitors in Strasbourg. Studio Ganek is spreading this project in the area of Lyon Saint-Etienne, in 2024-25.

The Mixed Syndicate of Plaine de l’Ain Industrial Parc (PIPA) entrusts the complete management of a photographic project order to Openlines X Studio Ganek.

This artistic project conceived by Guillaume Martiel exhibited within the Parc will be unveiled in September 2023.

Rendez-vous page X — public presentation of the results of Floraine Sintès's residency in Villeurbanne (69) — combines history, collective memory and urban space in the form of a novel of which you are the hero.

Initiated by Studio Ganek and the result of a collaboration between the Théâtre de l'Élysée, UFCS-FR Formation Insertion, and artist-author Agathe Chevallier, France Sommeil is a collective creation by a group of people on a professional integration programme about their relationship with work.

It is about forming an active group of citizens, who will acquire together several artworks.

As part of the Season of Lithuania in France in 2024 and the project Ciconia Ciconia (Studio Ganek, La Halle, Contemporary Art Centre of Pont-en-Royans, Le Polaris of Corbas, LIAA Vilnius), the following events will be taking place :

Studio Ganek assists artist Julia Huteau in the production and distribution of her work.

Focused on sculpture, she explores shapes and colours, mainly from ceramic elements. Staging them outside and directing volumes and colours allows her to think about a change in the artworks scale and sculptural research from other materials.

Studio Ganek assists artist Hélène Hulak in the production and distribution of her work.

Hélène Hulak develops an installation practice mixing painting, sculpture, textile and video. She uses pop-culture images which may change successively. She plays and uses their codes excessively to make the spectator think about our relationship to genre and environment.

Using different practices such as performance, video, installation or writing, the artistic work of Lidwine Prolonge tends to establish a continuity between personal events and fiction, individual tales and collective stories, in order to create the conditions of a distress in our relationship to situations perceived, lived and thought.
