Magalie Meunier (b.1985) is the founder of Studio Ganek, a production and distribution agency for artistic projects. She has worked in various artistic structures, from gb agency gallery (2010-2013), to the Frac MÉCA in Bordeaux as artistic cooperation officer (2018-2019), the IAC in Villeurbanne where she was assistant curator (2014-2017). She carries on her work as an independent critic and curator, notably on her activities with Irmavep club (2010-2014), at Lyon’s Salle de bains (2016-2017) or more recently at Villeurbanne’s MLIS (2022) and Bourse du travail Valence (2023). In 2020, together with the association Cagnard, she founded the espace Montebello and is a member of c-e-a / association française des commissaires d’exposition.

With over 10 years’ experience working with artists in the art sector, she promotes projects for the production and dissemination of contemporary artworks. As a member of the Studio Ganek association, she is interested in the context of a work of art’s production and its experiential understanding.
